Company kept me informed of the technicians arrival. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
here for a no cool on a 11 year old Goodman air conditioner. Customer advised me that nothing is coming on now but even when it was working it wasn’t working very well. I found no high-voltage to furnace. Found that the breaker in the panel is bad and not supplying voltage to the furnace. Customer had an extra breaker inside the box so I swapped it out and turned it on. Everything powers up and comes on now. I checked refrigerant charge and found it running at a 38° superheat. Added refrigerant at homeowners request to achieve a 14° superheat. We cannot guarantee how long system will continue to run considering there’s likely a refrigerant leak. But system is running OK at this time

Service work performed: Here for no cool on 3 year old AC system that was installed by a guy that worked For another HVAC company. We charged system last year when it was low on refrigerant, the previous technician from our company stated he thought the leak was in the refrigerant lines which run through the slab and are not accessible. The system is completely empty on my arrival today. Recommend having a proper leak search performed and replace or repair the leaky component. Customer not interested in replacement at this time. Did advise customer how potentially pricey a repair like this could be. If refrigerant lines need replaced they cannot be ran through attic, but unit could be relocated to back of house.
